Research in adaptive learning environments

Research activity of the Laboratory of Educational & Language Technology focuses on the design, implementation and utilization of web-based, adaptive learning environments.

The web-based Adaptive Learning Environment SCALE (Supporting Collaboration and Adaptation in a Learning Environment) supports individualized learning, collaborative learning and the  assessment of learning.

LcL (Learner centered Learning) is an upgraded version of SCALE and emphasizes the planning of learning activities and the provision of feedback at the information and guidance level. LcL supports Open Learner Models. It is also used to support the learning process in the undergraduate course "Introduction to the Science of Informatics and Telecommunications".
